Message I hope you have dropped in a TT fuel pump. Are these guys going to change any of the computer maps (tuning) or are you just trying to see how much HP the car is putting down while leaving the ECU alone?

I honestly wouldn't trust anyone tuning my car that didn't have 300zx tuning experience. I saw a car at the Xenia, OH tuning weekend that had been tuned by someone other than SZ. Greg said the timing maps were set aggressively, base timing was advanced, and boost was up. This was creating a dangerous condition that could allow for detonation.

Does this shop have a way to listen for detonation? How will you know how much boost you can run without knowing where the limit is? You find the limit by increasing boost/changing timing maps while listening for detonation.
